Friend, AIDS Walk Weekend is here! It's Spring in Maine, and you just never know with this weather, so we recommend layers. We can't thank you enough for your commitment and fundraising efforts - you are making a difference by joining us and we truly appreciate it! Here are a couple details to get you ready for the big day: Arrival: 11 am at Ogunquit Beach - If you're already registered, come check in for your race bib (walkers and runners). If you have friends joining, they can still register online or at the beach. We'll have plenty of snacks and goodies for you! PARKING IS FREE thanks to the Town of Ogunquit. Please let parking attendant know you are there participating in the AIDS Walk Starting Line: 11:30 am - the route will be marked and just follow the crowd! We'll be cheering you along the way and there will be a water station half-way through - bringing your own water bottle helps us minimize waste! Walking/Running: Be sure to watch out for the piping plovers! These little guys depend on Ogunquit Beach so please stick to the marked route! Finish Line: after party and appreciation at Mainestreet! Grab your goody bag and head on up! Pizza generously donated by Brickyard Hollow! Thank you again and can't wait to see you! - All of us at Frannie Peabody Center |
